The President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a visit.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Sakr al-Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and ruler of the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah, UAE, received last Monday, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and his delegation to Saqr bin Mohammed City.
Sheikh Saud emphasized the importance of the established ties between the UAE and Tatarstan, as well as the joint interest of the parties in their development, which helps to strengthen cooperation in a number of areas.
The Tatar-inform news agency reports that Rustam Minnikhanov visited the RAKEZ free economic zone and got acquainted with its potential in the field of tax and customs preferences.
The President of the Republic was presented the tourism potential of the emirate, including the project of the island of Al Marjan.
