New Rixos, The Palm Hotel Opens in Dubai

The first hotel in the United Arab Emirates under the brand name Rixos was opened on March 10 at the eastern tip of the "crescent" around the famous man-made island Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The opening ceremony of the hotel was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation; Lt. Gen. Musaba Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of the Ruler of Dubai; His Excellency Ali Rashid Luta, Member of the Board of Directors of Nakheel Construction Company; His Excellency Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director General, Dubai Protocol Department; Ertugrul Gunay, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and other officials.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed his admiration for the design and quality of hotel services and noted that "the new hotel will be a valuable addition to the UAE's hospitality sector and will help develop the entire tourism sector of the country." He also congratulated the entire Rixos Hotels Group team on the successful implementation of the project and thanked all the entrepreneurs who chose Dubai as their place of investment. "This is excellent evidence of the confidence of international investors in our country, which was achieved by improving industry legislation, developing infrastructure, a system of logistics services and a favorable environment," said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In turn, Fettam Taminje, chairman of the Rixos Hotels Group, assured the audience that "the opening of a new hotel in the United Arab Emirates reflects the company's intentions to develop this area as strategic, since Dubai combines the Arab East and Western Europe and is a fast-growing market in the field of hospitality. " After the ceremony of cutting the red ribbon, the official delegation examined the hotel, got acquainted with its services and opportunities for sports, recreation and entertainment. All invitees became witnesses of an impressive holiday, which ended with fireworks.

The Rixos Hotel, The Palm, to which the renowned Turkish architect Haldan Kilit had a hand in hand, has 233 rooms, including deluxe ones, as well as 28 apartments. Each room offers breathtaking views of the Persian Gulf. The hotel is made in a modern style with elements of Middle East architecture and is equipped with all the necessary technologies that make it comfortable for living. It occupies 30% of the total land, and is located next to the palace of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, and Sofouh Road. The rest of the territory houses a magnificent garden and a luxurious sea promenade with beaches, numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel has international restaurants, the Rixy Club Kids Club with professional educators and the famous Rixos Royal Spa with a Turkish bath.
