Careful research was carried out in everything from fireballs, race participants, to clothing styles and chronographs worn by heroes. Since the cult film LeMan starring Steven McQueen in the lead role, the tense and very glamorous world of the fastest sport has not yet been recreated so authentically! Not without reason experts vying predict the success of the new movie. And part of the fame, undoubtedly, will go to TAG Heuer, which from the very beginning supported and helped promote this film project. It is known that McQueen wore the Heuer Monaco chronograph in the company square case during the filming. The same was worn by his friend, the famous Swiss racer Joe Sieffert, who was sponsored by the watch company at that time. In the movie Race, Nicky Lauda wears a Heuer Silverstone watch, a legendary 1970s chronograph, named after the British Racing Club's Silverstone circuit. James Hunt, performed by Chris Hemsworth, wears the Heuer Carrera gold chronograph, named after the most dangerous Carrera Panamericana racing.
