Cameras and sensors will be installed in the examination machines to record the actions of the cadet and the examiner, but it will not be possible to completely exclude the participation of the examiner in the process of passing the test. Thus, the RTA expects to significantly reduce the number of complaints from cadets and the number of protested exam results.
Also, in order to reduce the impact of the human factor, the examiners are rotated between different schools and the quality of the exam is suddenly checked by inspectors representing themselves as cadets. The exam results of each examiner are analyzed and disciplinary measures are taken if suspected of being biased. In total, there are 80 examiners in Dubai who test 1,400 cadets daily, only 30% of whom pass the test. Last year, the share of successfully passed tests was only 18%.
