On the first day of May, a concert by star saxophonist Amy Dixon and pianist Amira Fouad will take place on the small stage of the Dubai Opera as part of the Music in the Studio program. He will complete the spring season of 2019.
Amy Dixon is an Australian academic star, although the reputation of her instrument, saxophone, in the world of classical music is seriously inferior to jazz. The bright actress, however, refutes stereotypes and not only breathes new life into the existing saxophone repertoire, but also supplements it herself.
Amira Fuad will join Amy Dixon on stage to perform works by Debussy, Ravel, Saint-Saens, Millot and Piazzolla for saxophone and piano.
