Etihad Airways encourages frequent flyers to donate air miles to Paralympics.
Dubai, UAE. Etihad Airways, UAE’s national carrier, urges Etihad Guest’s loyalty program participants to donate their accumulated air miles to the Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi from March 14-21.
The airline is an official partner of the competition and encourages frequent flyers to help athletes with special needs realize their dream of performing in the international arena.
It is noted that the cost of participation of each athlete is about 25 thousand dirhams (US $ 6.8 thousand), which is far from affordable for everyone. In this regard, each new member of the loyalty program, which is registered on the website www.etihadguest.com/sowg until March 21, will donate 500 miles to athletes. The donation will be refunded after the passenger completes the first flight in a new status.
Existing members of the loyalty program can also make a donation on the website www.etihadguest.com and pay for miles with accommodation, meals, transportation, special events for athletes.
