The Governor also noted the great merit of the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Oleg Fomin in resolving the situation and thanked him and the staff of the Consulate General: "Thank you for your responsiveness and high professionalism in serving for the good of the Fatherland and its citizens!"
Recall that in a touching humanitarian gesture, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, provided financial assistance to the family of a tourist from Russia who died in one of Dubai's hospitals due to a sudden rupture of the aorta, taking over payment of bills from the hospital, transportation of the body of a tourist to her homeland, airline tickets to family members and other related expenses.
