In the UAE shopping centers will teach to refuel their cars

In Arab Emirates shopping centers, self-service stations are opening, which will teach residents to independently fill gasoline in the gas tanks of their cars.

Residents of the northern emirates who want to learn how to refuel their cars will now be able to do this in shopping centers. On Thursday, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) launched a temporary station at the Sahara Center in the emirate of Sharjah and another at the Al Manar Mall in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Previously, such kiosks opened at Marina Mall and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.

"The goal is to interact with the community, identify problems, explain and answer any questions," said an Adnoc spokesman.

Starting June 30, motorists in Abu Dhabi must pay an additional 10 dirhams ($ US 2.7) if they want gas station employees to refuel at Adnoc stations instead. Previously, this service was free.

At temporary stations in shopping centers, residents can also register for a smart beacon. This will make refueling faster and easier. Over 140 thousand such beacons have already been installed throughout the country.
