Abu Dhabi share is the best in the world

The share of per capita GDP produced in 2005 in the emirate of Abu Dhabi is the highest in the world and almost 7 times higher than the world average.

For one resident of Abu Dhabi, 46,200 USD of the total GDP last year. Thanks to high oil prices, which contributed to the revitalization of non-oil sectors, Abu Dhabi achieved an 11 percent increase in GDP. Its total volume exceeded 82 billion USD. The emirate’s GDP is 60% of the country's GDP, which is approaching 135 billion USD.

On average, 29,200 USD of the total value of the country's GDP falls on one UAE resident. This amount more than doubles that of other Arabian countries, where the average share of GDP per inhabitant is 13,500 USD.
