The resort has found temporary housing for wards turtles in the Dubai Aquarium

The luxury resort of Jumeirah Al Naseem from Dubai temporarily lodged turtles in the Dubai Aquarium.

Ten sea turtles from the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Center (DTRP), located in Madinat Jumeirah, were relocated to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo for two months. Guests can be found at the new address during August and September.

Turtles are accustomed to living in the luxurious setting of Jumeirah Al Naseem, and they will be back in October.

Each of 10 sea turtles fell into DTRP for rehabilitation. They were found at the beginning of the year off the Persian Gulf with various injuries, mainly with shell damage.

Warren Baverstock of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah said: “The exhibition at the Dubai Aquarium and the underwater zoo, which talks about the DTRP's rehabilitation efforts, is designed to familiarize many visitors to the Dubai Aquarium at The Dubai Mall with the plight of these turtles. After a three-month rehabilitation period, the turtles will return to our aquarium, receive satellite transmitters, and then be released back to the Persian Gulf. ”

The Dubai Aquarium promotes awareness and support for the conservation of wildlife and the environment. The joint initiative aims to familiarize visitors with turtles, their habitats and global conservation efforts to combat their extinction, as well as to inform the public about measures that they can take to help protect species and reduce the negative impact of humans on marine life.
