One of the largest budget retailers Redtag, based in the United Arab Emirates and part of the BMA International chain of malls and supermarkets, is about to open 18 new stores for fashionable and inexpensive clothes, shoes and accessories for the whole family in the Middle East region. Two of them are already open and successfully operating in the Safeer Mall in Sharjah and the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.
Just four years ago, the first Redtag department store was opened in Abu Dhabi. At the moment, there are already 50 of them in the Middle East. The headquarters and head offices of this retailer are located in Dubai. According to the International Retail Index, the UAE is among the top ten countries in terms of popularity and attractiveness for large international retail operators.
