Dubai police have allowed motorists who hold First Gulf Bank credit cards to pay installment fines.
Dubai, UAE. Dubai police again allowed local motorists to pay installment fines - now this privilege has been granted to First Gulf Bank credit card holders. An agreement was signed between the law enforcement agency and the financial institution.
Interest-free installments can be issued for three, six, nine or 12 months, provided that the amount of fines exceeds 1000 dirhams (US $ 273). The service has already begun to work: to get it, you need to download the Dubai Police mobile app or go to the site. In addition, you can pay fines through service centers.
As team leader Humeid Salem Al Suwadi noted, the agreement will open new channels for paying fines to motorists. It is worth recalling that earlier similar agreements were signed with two other financial institutions - Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Emirates NBD.
